From 2025–2026 onward, Ba Ria–Vung Tau Province is expected to firmly establish itself as the key growth hub in southern Vietnam, where industrial infrastructure is being completed the fastest.
First, the Bien Hoa–Vung Tau Expressway, with the opening of some sections at the end of 2025, will dramatically shorten travel time between Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau, and Long Thanh International Airport is targeting the start of commercial operations in 2026. As a result, companies in the region will see significant improvements in access to, and use of, global logistics.
In addition, the Cai Mep–Thi Vai port cluster, a deep-water port complex, is currently one of the fastest-growing maritime hubs in Vietnam, and is set to expand to a total of 60 berths through a future expansion plan worth VND 8.1 trillion.
