RSQUARE: Thank you for trusting and using RSQUARE Vietnam’s services. Could you please briefly introduce YLAB Vina?
YLAB Vina: We are the Vietnam branch of YLAB, one of Korea’s leading webtoon studios. The company produces and distributes webtoons across many genres. In addition to translating successful Korean webtoons into Vietnamese and adapting them to local culture, we also scout and train authors in Vietnam to build local webtoon content.
RSQUARE: What kind of commercial real estate did RSQUARE help your company find, and at what scale?
YLAB Vina: We found an office in Ho Chi Minh City with an area of 214 m², which fully meets our initial operational needs.
RSQUARE: What was your experience working with RSQUARE?
YLAB Vina: This was our first time handling an office lease and interior construction in Vietnam, so we faced quite a few difficulties due to lack of experience. Mr. Kim Hyun Joong, Head of the real estate team, and Mr. Oh Jae Gwang, in charge of interior design & construction at RSQUARE Vietnam, supported us very attentively, explained everything in detail and proposed practical solutions based on solid expertise. Thanks to them, the office fit-out went much more smoothly.
RSQUARE: Is there any memorable moment from the time you used our services?
YLAB Vina: The office floor construction coincided with the rainy season, and there was more rain than usual. Because the floor took a long time to dry, some subsequent stages were at risk of delay, which could even have affected the opening schedule. However, RSQUARE quickly came up with alternative plans suited to the actual situation and handled things very flexibly, helping us finish on schedule.
