Q: Can you introduce NIPA’s Ho Chi Minh City IT Support Center?
A: It is an overseas office of the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), a quasi-governmental agency under the Ministry of Science and ICT. The center supports Korean SMEs and venture ICT companies entering Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, by providing market information, office space, consulting, connection with development personnel, and networking opportunities.
Q: What facilities did you procure through RSQUARE, and what are their dimensions?
A: We found an office that fit our expansion plans. It is a workspace with an area of approximately 500㎡.
Q: How was the office leasing process with RSQUARE?
A: Unlike other real estate services offered in Vietnam, we were able to check the actual rent and vacancy status in advance. I also appreciated RSQUARE’s thorough scheduling to ensure landlords kept their appointments during building inspections. Due to the nature of public institutions, the contract and budget execution process takes a long time, which RSQUARE explained well to the local landlords. They also structured the cash flows to ensure we didn’t exceed the annual rental budget, allowing us to finalize the contract without any conflicts. In a foreign country with many variables, it felt as comfortable as signing a real estate contract in Korea.
Q: Would you recommend RSQUARE to other companies looking for commercial real estate?
A: Absolutely. After we relocated our office, many companies asked about how we found our office space. We have been introducing RSQUARE to them ever since.
Q: Do you have any goals or visions for the new space?
A: Although there was high demand for the center’s services, we faced many constraints due to limited space. With the expanded Ho Chi Minh City IT Support Center, we aim to support more Korean ICT companies.
