Phuoc Khanh Bridge is a mega-bridge with the highest navigational clearance in Vietnam (55m) and serves as the most crucial connecting link on the southern core expressway axis.
Currently, the construction progress has reached over 95%. With the official opening scheduled for May 2026, the full operation of the entire route is just around the corner.
This project goes beyond mere transportation infrastructure. As a key artery directly connecting Long An industrial parks with international ports and Long Thanh International Airport, it is expected to be a turning point driving a new leap forward for Long An province as well as the entire Southern Key Economic Zone.
Upon the completion of the Phuoc Khanh Bridge and the opening of the entire expressway, the logistics travel time from industrial parks in Long An province to the Cai Mep – Thi Vai Port and Long Thanh International Airport is expected to be significantly reduced.
Businesses can expect to lower logistics costs and enhance operational efficiency by bypassing the chronic traffic congestion in downtown Ho Chi Minh City and on National Highways 1A and 51.
